The Gator Bike Ride is a non-competitive bike ride that benefits the Baytown Family YMCA’s Partners Campaign. Since its beginning in 1990, the Gator Bike Ride has grown to nearly 1,200 cyclists from all over the greater Houston area and throughout Texas. The ride is strongly supported by many Baytown civic organizations using over 300 volunteers. The ride is also an official MS 150 training ride.
The Gator Ride is a Baytown tradition that shows the commitment to community. Each year, Gator Ride helps generate funds that provide scholarships for child care, summer camps, swim lessons, sports leagues, teen programs and more.
