Event: 26th Annual Collin Classic Bike Rally
Route distances: 17, 30, 40, 51 and 62 miles
About the ride:
Due to a collision with a Komen event and the inability to get police support for the dates we originally planned, we are moving the event to July 22.
The ride begins and ends at Oak Point Park in Plano, Texas. The ride benefits the Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County (BGCCC). All proceeds from this event will help BGCCC provide more scholarships and programs to support children with making life changing decisions.
Registration for the ride is $45 until May 31 for all distances and $50 after that date. The registration fee includes an event T-shirt, lunch after the ride, snacks and drinks at multiple rest stops along the routes.
Routes: The ride offers open-road routes of 17, 30, 40, 51 and 62 miles in length. Beginning at Oak Point Park off Spring Creek and heads east, including an exclusive ride over the Lake Lavon Dam which is normally closed to the public. There will also be a Rider’s Village with live entertainment and food and beverages. Riders are encouraged to have their friends and family meet them at the finish line and then celebrate at the Rider’s Village. RIDE STARTS AT 8:00 am
