Date: Saturday – June 4, 2011 @ 8:00 A.M.

Event : 8th Annual Comanche Cyclone Bicycle Tour

Routes Distance: 10, 28, 42, 55 & 75 miles

About the Ride: The Cyclone Tour offers a route for cyclists of all skill and experience levels, from the “Lance Armstrong” types, to those just beginning their interest in cycling. The Tour will kickoff at 8:00 a.m. and riders will depart from Comanche High School for the various routes – 10 mile, 28 mile, 42 mile, 55 mile, and the granddaddy 75 mile.

The Cyclone Tour includes rides of 10, 28, 42, 55 & 75 miles. All on paved two-lane farm-to-market roads and country highways with wide shoulders. The routes have some flat runs, long stretches with gradual inclines, and some hills that could be challenging for less experienced or less fit riders.  Check the route information by using the “Ride Day Routes” tab at the top of the page. Fully staffed Rest Stops are strategically placed with the riders’ comfort and safety in mind. There will be iced water, cold sports drinks, and a variety of snacks available to help “recharge your batteries,” plus the necessary “relief” facility.
