About the Ride: The third annual Honor Ride Clay Hunt honors the service,values and memory of Sgt. Clay Hunt, a sniper with the U.S. Marine Corps who served in both Iraq and Afghanistan and fought his own internal battles against the physical, emotional and psychological effects of war before taking his life in March of 2011. Clay is from the Dallas area.

Ride 2 Recovery’s mission is to improve the health and wellness of healing heroes through mental and physical rehabilitation programs that feature cycling as the core activity. The funds raised through the Honor Ride Series support outdoor cycling programs and Spinning Recovery Labs at Military and VA locations around the US, as well as local rides for healing heroes.
