Event: Kiwanis Sealy Fall Classic 2017
Route Distances: 22, 33, 45 and 60 miles
About the Ride:
Join us for a challenging fall ride on country roads through the hills of Sealy, Texas. This is a great cause and it is a lot of fun!
This charity bike ride is our club’s “big” event of the year. Each year we plan, promote and staff the ride. The funds raised always go to a very worthy charity benefiting children in need. We expect between 300 and 600 riders. Our ride is often recommended as a MS 150 training ride.
This year’s Kiwanis Sealy Classic (The pedal for pie) will raise money for The Eliminate Project. This project is a joint effort of Kiwanis and UNICEF, and aims to eliminate Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus around the globe. Our international goal is to raise $110 million to protect 61 million women around the world and their unborn children. You can learn more about the Eliminate Project by visiting their Facebook page:
