About the Race:

Ride like a professional! Join us for a fast 100 mile ride around San Antonio’s Loop 1604. Ride is escorted by SAPD motorcycle police. Three SAG vehicles will be on hand to provide nutriition at key points during the ride. Group will stay together as a peloton and ride at 20mph. Duration of the ride is approximately 5 hours. Also included is an event tshirt and post ride pizza party!

About the Race: Our ride is not a race, and will consist of 10, 19, 36, 46, 75 and 100 mile tours on a well marked course. This years in town ride will also utilize part of the new Hike ‘n Bike Trail that Waxahachie has opened, the ride will also go through the downtown area and if you want you may stop and eat or shop in the many antiques and arts & crafts shops around the square. This is an ideal ride for beginners, children and families seeking a fun morning together.

• Rest stops will be approximately every 10 to 12 miles, however on the 75 and 100 mile routes some of the rest stops are further apart.
• Portable toilets will be provided at numerous locations.
• Water, fruit, Electrolyte, honey and other snacks and liquid will be provided at each rest stop.
• The routes pass through several small towns where riders may purchase food and drink.
• Free drinks, cookies, fruit and other items will be provided at the finish line.
• For your safety and convenience, all SAG wagons, rest stops, and the start/finish command post will be tied together by radio.
• SAG wagons will provide water, road assistance and transport for those unable to finish.
• Please be prepared to handle your own flats and minor repairs. Mechanical SAG Wagons from area bike shops will be on hand to provide assistance.
• Baylor Medical Center – Ellis County and East Texas EMS will provide medical personnel and emergency assistance at start/ finish area.
• Sports Massages will be available at the finish line, after the ride. They will help reduce sprains, strains and soreness. It works!!! Nominal Fee.

Rest stops will be located every 10-15 miles on each route. They will be stocked with water, gatorade, fruit, pickles, cookies and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. You are sure to be greeted with a smile and encouraging words to get you through the rest of your ride. Rest Stops will be open until the last rider of the group has made it through to that particular rest stop.

Our Good Samaritans (SAG wagons) will patrol the routes to transport riders in need to either the next available rest stop or back to the church. CK Bicycle Mechanic will be available to fix minor bicycle repairs through out the ride. Please be prepared to fix your own flats. We will have tubes available for purchase before the ride so you are fully prepared. Air pumps will be available at each rest stop.

Homemade breakfast tacos will be provided for all riders before the ride starting at 6:00 am. After you have completed your designated route, we will also provide a free lunch for all riders beginning at 11:00 am. Rest assure you will not go home hungry.
