Pathfinder Fun Cycling – Pathfinder Fun Cycling – Pathfinders Fun Cycling started organizing free weekly year-round rides in the DFW area in 2010. The rides are on roads and MUPs (multi-use paths) mainly on Saturdays and with an optional lunch stop. We rotate between, Highland Village, Flower Mound, Lewisville, Irving, Coppell, Grapevine, Carrollton, and Denton. Rides are designed to get people “into” and “back into” cycling by creating a fun and safe group riding experience away from traffic. No rides over 35 miles. Often multiple distance options. Requirements: 1. Wear a helmet. 2. Be able to “average” at least 12mph for a minimum of 15 miles on your own before joining a ride.

Violet CrownChartered in 1981 by a group small group of local cyclists, the Violet Crown Sports Association (VCSA) has been an active participant in Central Texas racing ever since. VCSA is affiliated with USA Cycling which is the official cycling organization recognized by the United States Olympic Committee. Currently made up of both recreational and competitive cyclists, VCSA continues to evolve with the times.
