Date: July 2, 2016

Event: The Hills Are Alive

Route Distances: 8 miles

About the Ride:

The area cycling calendar is empty for the July 4th weekend, so we are offering a very special ride on Saturday, July 2. Our “little ride” is a short route (8 miles) that utilizes a loop of county roads that include a few climbs, some downhills and some flat segments for an exhilarating ride that you can take on for up to 12 laps. That’s 96 miles! The route starts and finishes in the Myers Event Center in McKinney. Rider check-in begins at 7am and riders can begin rolling out after they check in.

Our start finish site includes some wooded areas for picnicking and a big grassy meadow where kids can run and play with one parent while the other rides. Plus, since it is the July 4th weekend, we are encouraging our participants to wear their patriotic apparel.

Your registration fee covers your refreshments and on road support. Participants will be limited to the first 250 riders who pay their fee.

Registration is $15 per person through July 1. If we do not sell out prior to July 2, day of event registration will be $20.

Once we receive your registration, we will send you the directions to the start site and the route files.

Our ride will happen rain or shine. Registration fees are non-transferable and non-refundable. To register online by credit card, click this link to visit our online store.
