Event: The Humane Bike Ride & Wine Tasting

Route Distances: 18, 30 and 47 miles

About the Ride: The Humane Bike Ride & Wine Tasting promises to be THE EVENT of the year for bike riding (or even wine drinking) enthusiasts. Please sign up to participate. There are three routes from which to choose: 18 miles, 30 miles, or 47 miles. The bike ride will begin at 8:30 a.m. Roads will be marked and maps will be provided. Rest stops will be set up along the routes to refresh the riders. Sag Wagons will be patrolling routes to assist any rider in need. All riders must wear a certified helmet and obey all traffic laws. Lunch will be provided followed by a wine tasting from Bruno & George Winery. (You must be at least 21 years of age to participate in the wine tasting.) Come on out and “Peddle for the puppies!”

Registration Details: $25 entry fee payable to Humane Society of Southeast Texas (which is tax deductible to the extent of the law for income tax purposes)
Register anytime by mail (P. O. Box 52, Nome, TX 77629) or
at Kickstand Bike Shop (6366 Phelan Blvd, Beaumont at the Collonade Shopping Center) or
from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on August 15 at Sertinos Coffee Café (5657 Eastex Freeway, Beaumont) or
from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 a.m. on August 16 at Bruno & George Winery (400 Messina Road, Sour Lake)
