About the Ride:
RACHA: “Ride Against CHild Abuse.”
Why Ride? Why it’s Important?
Each year thousands of children in our country suffer and even die from abuse or neglect. These children are also in your own neighborhood. Child Abuse claims more victims than any disease. They experience physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, emotional abuse, bullying, human trafficking, domestic violence, which in many cases go unreported.
WE FIGHT FOR THESE CHILDREN! WILL YOU JOIN THE FIGHT?
Your support by riding individually, organizing a group or donating can help these children. Join our movement to “End Child Abuse Now”, by supporting Family Ties, Children’s Crisis Center. Let’s all stand together and show Child Victims that they are not alone.
Let’s give them a place they can turn to for help and let’s help their families provide a safe environment for them to flourish. Family Ties, Children’s Crisis Center is established to address child abuse issues, family violence, sexual assault and other children’s crisis issues. These services are paramount in helping child victims and their families heal in a supportive environment.
In addition to providing free services for children victims and their families, primary prevention and intervention services are provided as well. Working collaboratively with local schools, churches and community organizations; Family Ties is able to provided crisis services in Waller, Austin and Harris County.
Please support our efforts by joining us in May for the Tour de RACHA our 8th Annual “Ride Against CHild Abuse.” There is no better and more important cause than Children, our future. Join in “Bringing Children’s Safety to the Forefront”
