About the Ride:

Fancy yourself a climber? We have a treat for you. Join us for the Triple Bypass on July 13, rest up for a week, and then conquer the highest paved road in North America to 14,130’ at the Blue Sky (formerly Mt. Evans) Hill Climb Gran Fondo on July 20. Both events combined cover over 17,500 feet of climbing.

For taking the challenge, we are giving Grand Slam participants a marvelous, eye-catching jersey. You only get it if you do it.

How to be part of the Slam:

  • Choose Grand Slam during Triple registration
  • A code will be sent to you to enter the Blue Sky Hill Climb (at no cost)
  • Pick up your Grand Slam and Blue Sky Hill Climb jersey at packet pick up for the Hill Climb
  • Wear it like you earned it. You did.

This epic climb takes place on the highest paved road in the United States. It’s a 6,714? climb from an elevation of 7,500? all the way up to 14,130 feet. There will be an aid station at Echo Lake with electrolytes, water, and gels. Water and snacks will also be available at the summit. Be prepared to ride down to your car. There is no shuttle service from the summit.
