About the Ride:
Gears for the Years features 25, 40, and 60-mile routes along country roads, across beautiful rivers, and includes terrain suitable for riders of all levels! Routes are fully supported with aid stations every 10-15 miles. With multiple route options, well-stocked aid stations, and amazing SAG support, Gears for the Years strives to be a premiere charity ride experience that embraces our amazing Central Texas cycling community! Ride information is kept up to date to keep our riders informed and prepared for the big day!
Coffee and post-ride beer provided by Red Horn Coffee House & Brewing Company – SAG and Mechanical Support provided by The Peddler Bike Shop.
Ride Morning Schedule
6:30a – Registration and Packet Pick-up Opens (T-shirt NOT guaranteed to ride morning registrations)
7:45a- Safety Talk and Welcome, National Anthem
8:00a- ALL routes start
9:30a- Post-ride party begins
10:00a- Tacos served! Thank you, R Bank and Pok-e-Jo’s!
11:45a- Drawing for raffle prizes (you do NOT have to be present, but we hope you are!)
+/- 1:00p- Post-ride Party ends
