Route Distances: 29, 38, 53, 60 miles

About the Ride: 

The Paluxy Pedal is a fundraiser for the LDL organization. Four different courses show you the scenic back roads and hills of Glen Rose. Our goal is to make this as safe and fun a ride as possible, so the routes are marked with arrows and signs, SAG is always on the course and rest stops have hydration, snacks and PortaKans.

Early Packet Pick Up
Early packet pickup on Friday, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Inn On The River in downtown Glen Rose. A buffet special will be available for $12 to Paluxy Pedal Riders.

Packet Pick up
Packet Pick up starts at 7:00am Saturday morning at The Glen Rose Auditorium. Paper maps and bathrooms will all be available. Coffee will be provided by Grounded Coffee Shop!

Start
Mass Start for all courses at 8:30 am.

Ride
Ride! See the scenic back roads and hills of Glen Rose. Depending on your chosen course you might ride The Wall… a hill with 19% grade at the top! Patches are given to all who climb it!

Rest Stops
There are 6 different rest stop; all courses have at least 3. Rest stops have hydration, snacks and A+ PortaKans.

Pizza
At the end of the ride, pizza will be available for all riders (as well as bathrooms and showers).

Course Closing Time
Course closes and will be swept at 2:00pm.
